Filter talents by their actual effects, then narrow them by role fit. Role presets use weighted, role-specific anchors—generic haste, critical strike, AoE, or mana wording alone no longer makes a talent “Caster DPS.”
Effect tags use phrase-aware matching and separate ambiguous concepts such as defensive armor versus enemy armor reduction, attack speed versus cast speed, and group healing versus non-healing party support. Role fit requires an appropriate anchor: Caster DPS needs spell/casting evidence, Physical DPS needs weapon/physical evidence, Healer needs healing evidence, and Tank needs mitigation, avoidance, armor, health, or threat evidence. A small curated correction list resolves especially ambiguous custom talents; a dot on a role badge marks those corrections.
